It is told through with a collection of letters written from different time periods. The book also includes pictures and poems about different moments that took place in her life. In "Falling for Jordana", Tilar tells the story of how she fell in love with a woman after they were both married and were both separated from their spouses. She talks about how difficult it was to tell her husband that she was falling in love with someone else, but also how difficult it was to tell himself that he loved his wife even though he hated her.
